We’re starting with a budget entry, but one that smells surprisingly good despite its presentation and price. I could even go as far as saying that it is “the bomb” and yes, its design has a lot to do with that! It has a strong, woody scent and I am not the only one to say that it beats some perfumes that are much more expensive (although not the top ones). Definitely give it a try despite the fact that it comes in a glass grenade bottle, as it’s not expensive at all – it’s surprisingly good!

Hanae Mori Eau de Parfum
Although this is a lesser known brand compared to others on this list, Hanae Mori’s Eau de Perfume has a marvelous smell and last long. This is a woodsy perfume, with spicy notes thanks to the exotic citruses used in the mix, it’s a great choice for all ages and perfect for daytime usage, any time of the year. Its base notes of Sandalwood, Oakmoss and Cedar are nicely balanced with the other fragrances, the result being quite impressive. Prepare to get a lot of praise for wearing this!

Don’t expect to start hunting aliens if you wear this, but the ladies will surely be easier to “hunt”. Created in Italy, it is perfect for wearing during the evening or at night: it’s romantic, sensual, inviting. Even though this is one of the oldest fragrances on our list, as it was launched in 1989, it is by no means outdated, on the contrary! It stood the test of time and it’s a perfect choice for men of all ages, ready to wear at any time of the day or night.

Unlike Eternity above, this is a young perfume: launched in 2015, it took the world by storm and became one of my all time favorites already, even though I am not normally a huge Ralph Lauren fan.
But you have to give credit where credit is due! And this perfume smells amazing: clean and refreshing, with hints of cranberry and lemon, of ginger, amber and coffee. Fruity and fresh, this is great for wearing during the summer: it’s casual, it’s different, it’s nice! Really one fragrance to love!

L’homme Yves Saint Laurent By YSL
Elegant and refined, “The man” by Yves Saint Laurent is impressive, luxuriant, imposing. With notes of Bergamot, Ginger and Vetiver, its smell is woodsy and spicy and strong. Perfect for the modern man, it is intensely masculine and really manages to make a statement. Perfect for those who like strong, masculine smells that last long.

Dior Homme Intense by Christian Dior
Created in France, this is one of the more feminine perfumes on our list, but still a great one. Its floral elements are pretty strong, but the woodsy scents (Vetiver, Cedarwood) give it the required masculinity and defining notes. It’s great for romantic evenings and all-day wearing during the colder days.
For me, it’s something that I don’t normally wear, but I consider it a great addition to the mix as sometimes going over your comfort zone has impressive effects.

Prada Intense Eau De Parfum (Amber)
Originally launched in 2006, but perfected later, this is the perfume that I’m wearing right now. And even though I am not a well known trendsetter, I can guarantee that all my friends – both female and male – complimented me on the perfume. It’s that great with its intense smell and exotic, oriental-fougere notes of Amber, Patchouli, Vanilla and Myrrh. It’s excellent!

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio
Fresh, manly and magnificent. This is how I would describe this long lasting perfume for men created by Giorgio Armani. Even though it’s one of the most expensive products on our list, it’s worth all the money thanks to its complex and beautiful composition: woodsy and spicy, it’s well balanced yet strong and impressive. You can’t go wrong with it! Just make sure you get the Perfume/Eau de Perfume and not the Eau de Toilette, as the former lasts longer!
